Paper Pal Arts Challege

OK so to any of you who know me...I don't do challenges. Not because I don't like the idea, but because I just never see any until it is to late... So here goes one:) I saw it on Mary Fish's blog so I thought I would try. We are do a swap in my moms down line group and I am using this set....Fox and Friends, it's new in January from stampin' up! I also used a current SU! set A little birthday cheer. For the colors, it was the challenge colors...Old Olive, Crushed Curry, and Soft Suede, with a little very vanilla! Forgive the lighting as it was 4:15 in the morning and pitch black out when I took this! (this baby wants me up right now!) So that is why it looks dark.

Sercret Stamping Sister

Each year the crazy stamping ladies do a Secret Stamping Sister through out the year. This year I had the greatest time making Kathy some gifts! I wish I had planned ahead and taken pictures of what I made...I will check with the group to see if anyone else did:) Anyways last Saturday was our party where we said who we had. Here is what I had made for Kathy!

Here is the entire gift. Here is the holiday organizer I made...inside and outAnd the hat, gloves and scarf that I attached our retired felt flurries on!

November Stamp Club

Hi Everyone! Here are some pictures of the projects we did at my November stamp club. Here is the card option. The paper is Bella Blue, card stock is not quite navy, kraft, and very vanilla, and the set used was Serene Snowflakes. Everything is Stampin Up Product.
Here is the card again, with the scrapbook page option.

Then the second project we did was a hot cocoa holder. Card stock is Chocolate chip, whisper white, and real red. The bear from the cold and cuddly set was stamped in bashful blue. We finished it off with a bit of shimmer paint!

Novembers Challege Card

Here is my card from our November challenge. The requirements were black and white with one other color, and it had to be a Christmas Theme. I used all SU! product...as usual! The word Christmas is from the set heard from the heart-and I cut it out, then dasher is in the center. I used serene snowflakes punched out. The colors are whisper white, basic black, and melon mambo.

October challenge card

Every month for the crazy stampin lady meeting we have a challenge card. Here is mine. the rules were fall colors, fall theme, no black, square card, must use a roller, must use textured paper and at least one button-I know its alot, but at least the card is cute!

Tink!

Here is a card I made of SU! card stock-"sparkle" is from the warm words stamp set. This is a thank you to a friend of mine who gave me a ticket to take the girls to see the movie at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood.

Elmo!

ELMO! We were recently invited to a birthday party for a very good friend of mine-daughter. She is having an Elmo theme, so I figured I would make a bag and tag to match her day! I used SU!

punches for the eyes and cut out the rest, then sponged around his face to give some dimension.... Here is the finished product!

October Stamp Club projects

Every month I meet with a great group. They spend $25.00 in merchandise and do two projects for free. They also rotate who gets the hostess benefits! Here is some pictures of last months group projects...

The first project was a rosette favor box. It is great simple box that fits 3x3 cards or some candy! We made the rosette from the new Autumn Meadows DSP from SU! Then stamped the "Give Thanks" from the level 1 hostess set Holiday Best.

This is the card we made, they have the choice to make a card and envelope or a 12x12 scrapbook page. I always do some sort of technique on one of the projects, so this month I did shadowing on the big shot letters. I just took a picture of the card, but I will remember next month to take a picture of both!

Family Pictures

Here are some recent family pictures we took...I couldn't leave out our newest, soon to be addition.... It's A Boy! He is due to arrive April 4th 2010. I will keep you posted on names!

Our little family....

The whole big group!

Just the kids...

as you can tell Makai was over it by this point. (Actually she was pretty over it when we got there) We will be going back later to get some pictures of just the girls :)
