Gift For My Parents

So even though I did not get nearly to amount of handmade gifts done that I wanted to
here is one I did...
I know the above picture is a bit difficult to see, and my watermark isn't really helping the situation!  But it is an "R" made from corks.  My mom had been saving them for some time, and I had taken them to make my parents this framed monogram for the wall.  It looks much clearer in person:)

Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!
Today I wanted to share the class gifts I made for Makai's teachers
(I also made a similar set for Kamili's teacher)
Here is both of the sets together.
A close up of the gift card holder.
And the group card...We had each kid make a "page" wishing a Merry Christmas to there teacher, then put it together on binder rings!  I thought they turned out cute and I was able to avoid trying to hunt each parent down to sign a card:)

Cookie Exchange Tins

So all of my club members participated in a cookie/tag exchange in place of the typical club meeting for December!  Here are the tins I came up with to hold my Peppermint candy cane sugar cookies.

I just took a standard soup can, and covered it with DSP(that I had stamped on)  Added Very vanilla Card stock to the center and a ribbon around the outside.  I used my distressing kit(which I am in love with) and added a little vintage touch!
