Convention Board Samples-You're Amazing

This set is very versatile if you ask me.  I love the framed words and on these two samples that's what I used.  I paired the set You're Amazing with the butterfly punch and Comfort Cafe' DSP
The Elephants just screamed Circus Peanuts to me!  Although I admit they are probably in my top ten worst tasting candies, I grew up with them and just love the idea of them!

Artisan Design Team!

So at convention I was told to stop by the awards booth.  I had been informed that I had won an award for recruit promotions and for the Hilton head trip I would receive a pin as well.  I had no idea what I was in store for!  I went up to the booth and gave them my demonstrator #.  They put it in and started gathering many things...
They handed my my pins for the promotion achievement, Hilton Head trip, a ribbon that says "getaway" for the trip, Two envelopes and a big pink flower that said "artisan" in the center...which I figure was what they gave all the finalist since we were informed we would find out at awards night if we won or not.  But to my surprise I opened the first envelope to this beautiful card that was inviting me to the Artisan Design Team dinner.  It was very exciting news!!!

Here is the crew of design team members.  We will be receiving a box in the mail from stampin' Up! each month and required to make projects with them,  You will see all of my projects on my blog each month so be sure to stop in and check them out!

This is Amy Swartz and I at the dinner, and a picture of my place setting.

Convention Board Samples-You're Amazing

Now that convention is over I can show you all the things I made for the boards!  Some are simple, some are stepped up, some were fun to make and others were a bit of a challenge:)  Enjoy...

Convention Swaps

I am not much of a swapper...but you would never know that by the amount I am making this year for convention.  I had signed up for an organized swap a little while back, and then a few more fell into place, so I ended up being a part of 3 organized swaps, a roommate gift swap, and a shoe box swap...o'well that is what convention is for, right:)
Here is my swap with storybook friends.  This is one of my favorite combos of color.  and I love this little kitten!  I know it doesn't look that fancy, but it has a lot of steps!  Thanks for stopping in!

Life Shared

I got this single stamp, Life Shared because I LOVE the Story Time DSP that coordinates with it!  So I Decided to pull it out the other day and watercolor the image.  But I never put it on a card, so I was sitting at my work desk and saw it sitting there and decided to use different pieces that were cut and make it a card finally.  Nothing fancy, pretty basic, but here it is!
See you tomorrow!

June Advanced Club

So remember a few weeks ago when I told you all to check back and see what I did to step up my projects for my advanced club?  Well  I forgot:)  Sorry!!! I was going threw my pictures to do a little catching up and realized I never posted these!
So even though the forth of July is long gone, here is the little bag we made.  I really love the new alphabet dies.  They are such a perfect size.
And here is my "stepped up" card.  I made a similar card to this for my Artisan Swap-(with the winners from last year)  I am still working, and what I mean by that is have not started thinking about this years artisan swap:)  O'well, I'll get it done!
See you tomorrow!

Affection Collection

I made this keep sake box for my mom.  As you saw yesterday I make her pages each year of my kids, this year I decided to gift wrap it in a decorated tin that she could keep the old pages in.  I used a new set from the upcoming Holiday Catalog called Affection Collection!  This will be available starting August 1st to everyone.

A gift for my mom

So every year I give my mom a shadow box page of my kiddos for Mother's Day.  This year I was a little late(well I was late last year to, but that is besides the point)  Anyways with the artisan entry and convention board samples I had a lot of creating to do, so I think she understood!  Here is what I came up with for her card...
I know it is similar to my club card, but since she told me she didn't like this set (papaya collage) I took it as a challenge to make her like it.  So I did the shadow box page with it as well!

Here it is...I know you can't see all the dimension in this picture, but it took an entire sheet of dimensional:)  Thanks for stopping in!
